ME PMP Public Site Information (www.hidesigns.com/mainepmp) :
Data Submissions:
As a reminder, effective Tuesday, December 20, 2016, the Maine Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) will be upgrading to new software to support prescription monitoring services for Maine. We will be moving to the Appriss PMP AWARxE software.
The most current version of the Data Submission Dispenser Guide explains the process to register and transmit data to the Appriss Clearinghouse. Please do not use the previous iteration of this Guide, as the version linked in this message is the most up-to-date. Also note that the Appriss Clearinghouse is for data submission only.
Important Dates to Remember:
***If you have already registered with the PMP Clearinghouse and/or have requested approval to submit data to Maine, there is nothing else you need to do at this time***
If you are currently registered with the PMP Clearinghouse as a data submitter for another state, you DO NOT need to re-register. Simply follow these three simple steps:
Whether you are registering for the first time or you are an existing user, your request to submit to the Maine PMP will remain in a ?URoepending approval?UR? status until the state administrator approves your account. The state administrator will begin approving accounts on Tuesday, December 20.
If you are also a requestor of PMP data, you will receive a separate email with instructions for accessing the Maine AWARxE site for patient reports. Thank you for your assistance in making this a smooth transition and ensuring the Maine PMP is successful.
Data Requestors:
This message is to remind you that the Maine Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) will be upgrading software systems on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. You do not need to take action at this time. The purpose of this message is to provide you with key dates and important information about the upcoming transition.
Please be aware that there will be a delay in prescription history of approximately 2 weeks during the transition. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.
Should you have any questions in the meantime, you may contact the Maine PMP at (207) 287-2595 or by email at SAMHS.PMP@maine.gov.
